The 8th Annual ACE awards was held Wednesday, May 21st 2008 in the Oregon Ballroom at the Oregon Convention Center.

The Apartment Community Excellence Awards are a way to recognize and honor individuals who stand out as role-models, exemplary professionals, and community builders in the multifamily rental-housing industry; and who actively strive to elevate the industry as a whole.

The ACE Awards honors nominees in categories such as Managers of the year, Assistant Managers of the year and Maintenance persons of the year,according to the sizes of the residential communities.  Additionally ACE recognizes awards for Leasing person of the year, Property of the year, Civic Responsibility, Company Recognition Awards, and the Ross Dey Award for demonstrated excellence in the property management industry over a lifetime.

“Seeing all the nominees as they first arrive at the event is a highlight for me,” explains 2007 event co-chairperson Gary Fisher. “They realize, at that moment, that the night truly belongs to them.”
In Oregon, the awards banquet is the only event of its kind. This year the celebration hosted more than 600 people.

This annual premier event continues to grow in participation, and would not be possible without the support of our vendor sponsorships, donations, and those who participate through nominating outstanding employees, or by their involvement in the planning of the event itself.
