Oregon Landlord and Tenant Law I & II

Let's face it the Oregon Landlord and Tenant law can be a bit overwhelming at first. While all of the rules are important, some play a larger role than others when dealing with the day to day management of rentals. These courses take a practical approach to teaching the law by going through MMHA's rental housing forms through the life of a tenancy. The instructor focuses on teaching students how to fill out and serve the forms correctly, and what do to when problems emerge.

These courses create an interactive environment where attendees can get specific questions answered on real-world situations that they encounter. Part I begins where all tenancies begin—with the rental application, and then by chronological succession the class takes you through the rental agreements, various addendums, and special circumstances. Part II covers every end of tenancy scenario with the corresponding termination notice to serve, explains refunding deposits, and abandoned property rules.

The class structure makes it useful and easy to follow by just about anyone in the Residential Management industry. Those with little experience in dealing with the Oregon Landlord and Tenant Act will derive the most benefit and those with more experience will be provided a unique opportunity to get specific answers to nagging questions.
