Turnover Techniques - Including Pest Control and Bedbugs (8/4/09)

This course covers the turn process from the pre move out inspection to Rent Readiness. Each vacant unit is unique from another, but there are common issues that all vacant units share, which must be addressed in order to get them rent ready. First, students will learn industry standards and proven techniques in scheduling vendors, time management, and process organization. Next, the class will shift to the technical repair and maintenance aspects, covering the best painting practices, vinyl repair, wall repair, door repair, appliance systems troubleshooting, and plumbing repair. We will discuss new products on the market and share tips and tricks that many experienced technicians use in making units ready to rent ready. Kitchen Appliance Repair Class (10/15/09)

This course will provide students with an understanding of the basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems that are found in the three main appliances in the kitchen.
