March Membership Luncheon - Eugene (3/18/10 & 3/19/10)
This month our luncheon is a networking social hour for our members that is followed by two Oregon Landlord/Tenant Law classes. Part I focuses on screening, applications, and recruiting quality tenants- it is directly after the luncheon from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Part II is not to be missed as it explains the many variables around evictions and end of tenancy responsibilities of final accounting and abandoned property. Part II will be the following morning from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Spectrum Conference & Trade Show (9/30/10)
The 2010 Spectrum Trade Show & Conference will be held on Thursday September 30th at the Oregon Convention Center. Spectrum is the largest rental housing event in Oregon. The Census is coming
MMHA partners with Multnomah County and the City of Portland on the Complete Count Committee urging our members to post census information at properties and distrubute the short ten-question form. Encouraging residents to complete and send in the form now, allows for fewer door knocks by by census workers at multifamily properties.
